Definition:
A row of words on an empty page or space where they will present, or the words of a song or poem.
Example:
Tweedle-dee and Tweedle-dum
Walk around in their slum
Wailing, wailing with their mum
Because they don't have bread crumbs
The poem above consists of 4 lines.
Why is it important in Language Arts?
Lines are what people read! Without lines, they would not understand the uniqueness, the differences and the idea that it holds.
