SYMBOL is super necessary

Definition:

A symbol is a place, a person, a thing, or an event that has meaning in itself and stands for something else. In the World, a play, or a poem, symbols can be open and obvious, or mysterious and hard to figure out.

Example:

In 'The Diary of Anne Frank', her diary is the main symbol of the story, which connects to her life and what had happened during the hiding time with her family.

Why is it important in Language Arts?

Symbol helps the readers understand the significance of the special place, person, object or event, understand about the history and why was it chosen to be a symbol. In fictions, the symbol might be a very important part of the author's life and he/she wants to express it through words.
